What the F*ck? This is the biggest load of horse shit I have ever seen. Who the F*ck is listening to this pile of monkey shit? Seriously, our nation has lost more than a few brain cells. When two Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani songs, along with Britney Spears and the pussycat dolls are on the top ten- something has gone south. When I went to mtv.com to find a Broken Social Scene song, 50cent was on the front of the page- a big, ugly, disgusting pic of 50 with his hat on sideways saying, "pimping is a 24 hour job," or something retarded like that. Terrible. Horrible.
Let's face it people- there IS good music out there. It is just fuckos like mtv & launch music aren't advertising. MTV plays the White Stripes like they are some kinda indie band- come on, douches? You know better than that... i hope? Make a stand for intelligent, well thought out music, with real lyrics. When someone says, "did you hear the new (Fill in crappy pop or rap singer's name) song?" Say, "yeah, I heard it. F-in terrible. Why don't you and I go get a tuba,two sticks and a pack of twizzlers- the noise we make will sound better than that shit."

Paul - my sentiments and sympathy.If anyone has ever ventured into my playlists, you'd probably decree that I am a mellowed out fool. I think the days of Satchmo, Ella, Bing, Dean, Frank, Al, Marvin, and others are gone. But not forgotten! Let's have lyrics that mean something. Right now country and rebels are the only ones saying anything that doesn't inflame or debase the american intellect. You got shot 59 times? Lament the pain, praise the survival, express joy for friends who visited your hole-y butt in the hospital. Your woman left? Don't play another. Hey Paul have you checked out the new Kanye West new video? Though you might like it, especially with the diamond trade commentary on and in it. Then again that is fairly Kanye West style to have a portion of his music to be social commentary.--Finger
